SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 17, 2026 Last Updated: August 15, 2026

This SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Northwoods League, Inc. ("we," "us," "our," or the "Ticket System"), using technology provided by Reyka Technologies, LLC, collects, uses, and protects the mobile phone number you provide when purchasing tickets from one of the Venue Box Offices that uses the NWL Tickets platform. This Policy applies specifically to text messages sent through the Ticket System and supplements the Ticket System’s general Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Purpose of Collecting Your Mobile Number

When you provide your mobile phone number during a ticket purchase through the Box Office, you consent to receive transactional text messages related solely to the delivery and management of the digital ticket(s) you purchased.

We do not use your mobile number for marketing, promotional campaigns, or unrelated communications on behalf of the Ticket System itself.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary based on your purchase and the event(s) you are attending, but is generally limited to the messages necessary to deliver and support the use of your ticket(s) (typically 1–5 messages per transaction). You will not receive ongoing or recurring messages from the Ticket System outside of the context of an active ticket purchase.

3. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard text messaging rates charged by your mobile carrier will apply to any messages sent to your device. The Ticket System is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

4. Third-Party Event Organizers ("Tenants")

Our platform is used by multiple independent event organizers, venues, promoters, or sellers ("Tenants") who list and sell tickets through the Ticket System. Please understand the following:

  • The Ticket System will only send you the text message(s) required to deliver your purchased digital ticket(s). The system does not send additional or unsolicited texts beyond what is necessary to complete this transactional purpose.
  • If a Tenant chooses to use the mobile number you provided to send you additional communications outside of the Ticket System texting service (such as event marketing, updates, or other messages), that outreach is initiated and controlled solely by the Tenant, not by the Ticket System.
  • The Ticket System does not control, monitor, or take responsibility for any additional text messages a Tenant may choose to send using the number you provided.
  • If you wish to stop receiving additional messages from a Tenant , you must contact that Tenant directly to opt out of their communications. Opt-out instructions, if provided, are typically included in the Tenant's own message or may be requested directly from the Tenant.
  • Opting out of Tenant communications will not affect your ability to receive the transactional ticket-delivery messages sent by the Ticket System, which are required to complete your purchase.

5. No Sharing or Sale of Mobile Numbers

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Your mobile number is used internally by the Ticket System, and made available to the Tenant from whom you purchased a ticket, solely to facilitate your transaction and the event you are attending. We do not provide your mobile number to unrelated third parties, data brokers, or advertisers.

6. Opting Out of Ticket System Messages

Because messages sent through the Ticket System are limited to transactional delivery of tickets, there is no subscription or future messaging to Opt Out of. If you have concerns about receiving these required messages, please contact us using the information below before completing your purchase in the Box Office.

7. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Policy or how your mobile number is used by the Ticket System, please contact us at:

This Policy governs only text messages sent through the Ticket System. Communications initiated independently by Tenants are governed by each Tenant's own privacy practices, and you should contact the relevant Tenant directly with any questions or opt-out requests regarding their messages.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: August 17, 2026 Last Updated: August 15, 2026

These SMS / Text Messaging Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your consent to receive text messages through the NWL Tickets Website ("we," "us," "our," or the "Ticket System") (managed by Northwoods League, Inc., using technology provided by Reyka Technologies, LLC) for the sole purpose of delivering digital ticket(s) you have purchased from the Box Office of one of the Tenants utilizing our platform. By providing your mobile phone number and completing a ticket purchase, you agree to these SMS Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

The Ticket System's text messaging program ("Program") exists exclusively to deliver transactional messages related to your digital ticket purchase . The Program is not a marketing or promotional messaging program. We will not use the Program to send you advertising, newsletters, or unrelated communications.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile phone number during checkout, you expressly consent to receive the transactional text message(s) described above at the number provided. Providing your mobile number is generally required to receive your digital ticket via text; if you do not wish to receive a text message, you must use an alternative ticket delivery method offered by the Ticket System or Tenant. You represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by transaction and event but is limited to what is reasonably necessary to deliver and support your ticket purchase (typically 1–5 messages per transaction). The Program does not send recurring or ongoing messages outside the context of an active purchase.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Carrier charges for text messages and data usage are your sole responsibility. The Ticket System does not charge for these messages beyond any ticket price and applicable fees already disclosed at checkout, but your mobile carrier may impose its own charges.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

Because messages sent through the Ticket System are limited to transactional delivery of tickets, there is no subscription or future messaging to Opt Out of. If you have concerns about receiving these required messages, please contact us using the information below before completing your purchase in the Box Office.

6. Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Participating carriers do not guarantee message delivery and are not responsible for any delays, failures, or errors in the transmission of messages sent through the Program. Not all mobile devices or carriers may be supported, and message delivery may be delayed for reasons outside our control.

7. Multi-Tenant Platform — Scope of These Terms

The Ticket System is used by multiple independent event organizers, venues, promoters, or ticket sellers ("Tenants"). These SMS Terms govern only the text messages sent by the Ticket System for the purpose of delivering your purchased digital ticket(s). These SMS Terms do not govern, and we are not responsible for, any additional text messages a Tenant may independently choose to send you using the mobile number you provided. Any such Tenant-initiated messages are subject to the Tenant's own terms and practices, and requests to stop such messages must be directed to the Tenant.

8. No Warranty

The Program is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that messages will be delivered free of delay, error, or interruption. You acknowledge that timely delivery of text messages may be affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to carrier network issues, device settings, or incorrect contact information provided by you.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the Program itself. The "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.

10. Termination or Modification of the Program

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, including the right to change the phone number or short code used to send messages.

These SMS Terms apply solely to messages sent directly by the Ticket System for ticket delivery purposes. They do not apply to communications independently initiated by Tenants using the mobile number provided, which are governed by each Tenant's own terms and practices.
